Designer and artist Denisa Voláková focuses on headwear, which she sees as both a means of self-expression and a daily ritual. Scarves and turbans represent for her a safe space – a way to both hide and stand out. In her work, she challenges visual stereotypes and seeks new ways to connect aesthetics with functionality.
For Má Vlast EDIT 08, she will present a new collection that moves toward greater openness, diversity, and freedom in how headwear is perceived. Each piece is a limited edition and carries its own specific story – a celebration of life in its unique variability.
