Ma vlast EDIT 08 x MBPFW at arkhe.SPACE

The eighth edition of the Má vlast EDIT pop-up showroom is heading to Karlín. As part of the biggest fashion event in the Czech Republic – Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week – will take place in a weekend format at arkhe.SPACE, the showroom of the architectural and design studio arkhe on Rohanské nábřeží.

It will showcase a diverse range of creators, whom visitors will also be able to meet in person – for example, fashion designers Nikola Zezulová, Daniela Pešková and Jana Mikešová, jewelry designers Pavlína Zak and Martina Rozenberg Smira, accessory designer Pavlína Pouba, creating under the brand Yrnche, or Denisa Voláková, which focuses on headwear design.

The event will also include a presentation of a Czech lingerie brand Galya Sargsyan, which has been producing minimalist underwear from premium materials for over 30 years at a factory in the Vysočina region. Visitors will be able to personalize their own piece and meet the brand’s founder, Galya, in person.

Ma vlast EDIT 08 once again connects local fashion designers and creators with the public and industry professionals in the exceptional design surrounding of arkhe. Besides fashion, visitors will also be able to explore interior design and furnishings from brands such as &Tradition, Montana, HEM, Miniforms, Please Wait to Be Seated, and FEST Amsterdam.

For the first time, the platform invites Ma vlast EDIT to an event in Prague foreign guests who, as part of EDITwill offer their expert insights and experience not only to designers but also to visitors.
On Sunday September 7th, visitors will have the opportunity to meet with fashion and creative industry experts from both the Czech Republic and abroad in a '1-2-1' (one-to-one) format. Sessions, that is, in an informal, one-on-one personal consultation during which professionals share their experience and know-how. In this way, they offer Ma vlast EDIT a form of mentoring for creatives that is currently lacking in the Czech Republic.

On Saturday morning, the Almanac X Alcron Prague hotel hosting a networking breakfast for selected designers and expert guests. Ma vlast EDIT thus builds on the collaboration from last March, when a pop-up showroom was held in the premises of this five-star Art Deco hotel.
