JANA ROLLO is the eponymous brand of designer Jana Rollová, focused on handbags and accessories. She creates collections that merge artisanal precision with the poetry of form and the purity of material. A key element of her work is high-quality leather – a material she perceives as timeless, sustainable, and beautifully aging.
For Má Vlast Edit 08, the brand continues its recognizable signature while introducing new materials and shapes. The installation will feature the Serpentine mini handbags – small models to be carried by hand or over the shoulder, with characteristic meandering lines that evoke movement and subtle femininity. Elegant and distinctive, they are designed with evening and special occasions in mind.
The ERA model, made from soft Italian leather, stands out for its simplicity, suppleness, and refined knotted detail. Its textile counterpart, in an enlarged format, offers a lighter version crafted from black-and-white jacquard material with a delicate watercolor-like pattern.
The brand emerged as a natural continuation of the designer’s long experience creating accessories for European fashion houses. Jana studied at UMPRUM in Prague and the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. After fourteen years abroad, she returned to the Czech Republic, where she now works independently and collaborates with Czech brands on the development of handbags, jewelry, and limited collections.
Her approach is intuitive, with each object flowing naturally into the next. JANA ROLLO handbags and accessories are intended for women seeking quiet elegance, character, and quality that lasts. For her SERPENTINE collection, the brand was nominated for the Czech Grand Design 2023 award in the Jewelry Designer of the Year category.
