Hana Valtová is a Czech fashion designer and a graduate of the Fashion and Footwear Design Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM). Her work focuses mainly on applying historical garment research to contemporary fashion. She primarily creates women’s clothing with silhouettes that highlight femininity intertwined with elegance.
Her philosophy lies in preserving the tradition of artisanal craftsmanship and using high-quality materials. In her work, she has explored garments from the Renaissance period as well as the phenomenon of dandyism. She emphasizes that her garments carry a touch of the past while being entirely wearable today.
